Benefits of Vaping

Quitting smoking is one of the healthiest decisions one can make. According to John Hopkins Medicine, 7 out of 10 smokers say they want to quit smoking. However, the transition can be difficult for most of them. Thus, many were tempted to turn to e-cigarettes. But is vaping really a good alternative to smoking?

  1. Less toxic chemical exposure

A research conducted in the UK in 2017 endorsed vaping after health experts studied its long-term effects in ex-smokers. This landmark study involved “real-world” users who completed questionnaires and provided breath, saliva, and urine samples. The results revealed that former smokers using e-cigarettes have significantly lower levels of toxic chemicals and carcinogens compared with current smokers.

Professor Kevin Fenton, the national director of health and wellbeing at Public Health England, said that the study is a proof that shifting to e-cigarettes “can significantly reduce harm to smokers, with greatly reduced exposure to carcinogens and toxins.”

  1. Cost

Another myriad reason for jumping on the e-cigarette train is that it could save you considerable money. According to Fair Reporters, New York has the highest average price for a pack of cigarettes at nearly $13. At this price, a pack-a-day habit can sum up to $4,745 over the course of a year.

On the other hand, the cost of vaping varies on the type of vaping device used and the level of vaping. The price tag for a starter kit usually sits between $30 (e.g. Vaptio Cosmo Kit) and $60 (e.g. GeekVape Aegis Solo Kit).

Brands like Fuggin Vapors generously sell 120mL vape juice bottles for as low as $24.99. A typical vape user can consume an average of 4mL of e-juice per day. This means the 120mL is enough for an entire month. At this price point, a budget of $300 is enough for a 1-year supply of vape liquid.

Other expenses include replaceable pods at $3 to $6 each. They can deliver between 200 and 300 puffs on average. If you do the math, it clearly shows that vaping will put more money on your piggy banks.

  1. Flavor variety

Bakery, candy, cereal, custard, fruit, and menthol… when it comes to flavors, vape liquids have plenty (or even an endless set of options). Moreover, connoisseurs are continually crafting new and exciting flavors to ensure that everybody has something for his or her palate. Some vapers also claimed that a good flavor-alternative makes their transition from smoking to vaping easier.

  1. No noxious odor

In cigarettes, the tar causes the smoke and is responsible for the unpleasant ashy smell that most people dislike. The smell lingers for a long time and clings to materials such as carpet, curtains, pillows, hair, clothes, etc. Not only that, your breath can get that smell too.

Vapor, on the other hand, dissipates within minutes with a less intrusive aroma. Also, since vape juices come in certain flavors, the different scents they produce can be pleasant to the nose. Some can even make you drool like the GI Jane from Fuggin E-juice, which produces a delectable aroma brought by mixing watermelon, peach, pineapple, and dragon fruit together.

  1. Control on the vapor output

One of the huge advantages of vaping is that it allows users to control the amount of vapor to exhale. For instance, smaller devices produce less vapor, while high-powered ones are designed for cloud chasing. Most vaping devices can have their power output, airflow, and coil type adjusted, ensuring one can have a personalized vaping experience. This can be a big pro for vapers who desire for discreet smoke.

  1. Different nicotine concentration levels

Nicotine is an addictive substance that makes users desire for more. So people who are addicted to smoking are in fact addicted to nicotine. Vaping gives users full control of the amount of nicotine they want to take. Whether in stores or the Internet, vape liquids are always available at different levels. There are even nicotine-free e-liquids (0mg) for beginners or for those who have finally got over their nicotine addiction. Most ex-cigarette smokers start from high nicotine levels. Then they gradually go down to lower levels or completely get rid of nicotine.

  1. When preferred, vaping can go beyond vape juice
